Synopsis
Satoru Gojo’s past and present are explored as his enemies close ranks
In 2006, Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto are students and best friends at Jujutsu High. But after an incident sends Geto down a dark path, the two once closely bonded friends become sworn enemies. Meanwhile, in the present day Shibuya, Geto and Mahito’s dark forces team up to seal Satoru Gojo away.

Season 2 of MAPPA’s Jujutsu Kaisen takes place in two cours
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is the second season of TOHO and MAPPA animation studio’s series. The series is based on Gege Akutami’s manga series of the same name. Hiroshi Seko, who is known for his work on Attack on Titan, adapts the screenplay from Akutami’s writing. Seko also wrote the screenplay for the 2021 prequel movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen is in two cours, or parts. The first goes back in time to 2006, telling the story of how Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto went from being friends to enemies in Gojo's Past Arc from the manga; the second takes place once again in the present day, tackling the 'The Shibuya Incident' arc from the manga series. Back for season 2 are voice actors Junya Enoki as the first season’s protagonist, Yuji Itadori, Yuma Uchida as Yuji’s friend Megumi, and Asami Seto as their other friend Nobara Kugisaki. Satoru Gojo is once again voiced by actor Yūichi Nakamura in season 2.
