Fear the Walking Dead producer David Wiener takes over as showrunner for season 2 of Halo on Paramount+
Halo Season 2 is the second season of the military sci-fi action series produced by Amblin Television, One Big Picture, and 343 Industries for Paramount+. The series is based on the Xbox video game of the same name, which takes place in the 26th century where the United Nations Space Command is fighting against an alien-led group known as the Covenant. The second season of Halo is run by David Wiener, who is known for his work producing Fear the Walking Dead. Season 2 takes place over 6 episodes.
Halo Season 2 stars Pablo Schreiber as the supersoldier known as Master Chief Spartan John-117. Bokeem Woodbine returns as Soren, Natascha McElhone as Dr Catherine Halsey, Jen Taylor as Cortana, Natasha Culzac as Riz, and Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky. Other cast members returning for the second season include Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Danny Sapani, Fiona O'Shaughnessy, and Tylan Bailey. Season 2 also welcomes newcomers Joseph Morgan as James Ackerson and Christina Rodlo as Talia Perez.
