Every summer, some of the world's largest and most iconic marine animals, from great whales to elephant seals, congregate in one amazing place: Monterey Bay, California. And the summer of 2015 is likely to see the greatest numbers of marine giants gather off its shores in a century. After being hunted to the brink of extinction in the early twentieth century, it's the only place on earth where numbers of these magnificent animals have rebounded to pre-hunting levels. This series takes the viewer to the wildlife encounter of a lifetime.
