Jubilee is a fictional Amazon Prime exclusive series that follows a notorious scandal surrounding the lives of Bombay’s elite film industry. This show is created and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the man behind the critically acclaimed film Udaan, and the showrunner/co-director of Netflix’s first Indian Tv series, Sacred Games. Jubilee is co-produced by Andolan Films, Phantom Studios and Reliance Entertainment.
Jubilee is loosely inspired by Bollywood’s first ever scandal surrounding the iconic Bombay Talkies producer, Himanshu Rai and his wife. This show features an impressive line-up of actors, including Aditi Roy Hydari as Sumitara Kumari, and Bengali cinema’s leading actors Prosenjit Chatterjee as Srikant Roy. Bollywood's acclaimed musician Amit Trivedi lends his genius to the shows spellbinding soundtrack.
