This is Hindi-Punjabi Feature Film. It is a story of a family, who sell Rice for their living. The family tries to cope up in several ways to fulfil their living requirements. Gurfateh Singh, the father of 3 sons along with his brother and wife belong to a lower middle class family where they all work together and live with good and strong bonding. Since Gurfateh Singh is not able to get sufficient income through his rice selling business, he and his family tries several other work to fulfil the basic needs of the family. Although one of his friends suggests to mix tiny pebbles in the Rice and wheat grains. But the man is honest and dedicated to his work. He refuses to do so. Somehow the family is leading their way peacefully even after all issues. Meanwhile the news is heard that Smt. Indira Gandhi is assassinated by Sikh security force. This news creates lots of threat to Sikh families. The Communal people in the town create chaos by taking the advantage of this incident. They bribe few unemployed men to create chaos and acquire the Sikh familys' belongings and properties. This creates lots of violence in the town and several Sikh families including small children were killed and women were left widow. The incident of war-like which took place in Golden Temple, Amritsar took several Sikh lives in Amritsar to New Delhi and many women and children suffered due to this. Thousands of them lost their life and many families destroyed.
