Synopsis
The lethal threat forcing people to turn a blind-eye spreads to Spain in Bird Box Barcelona
The city of Barcelona is taken over by a mysterious force that attacks people through their vision, and the only way to stay safe is by covering your eyesight. This story takes us through a dystopian Barcelona, through the blindfolded eyes of Sebastian and his daughter Sophia who live in the heart of one of the busiest cities in Spain. Will the father-daughter duo be able to escape death in the middle of all the darkness and danger?

Bird Box Barcelona is a post-apocalyptic thriller movie. The film is produced by Netflix, and it acts as the Spanish extension to the 2018 global hit Bird Box. Both movies are adapted from a book of the same name written by Josh Malerman. The Spanish spin-off is written and directed by Alex and David Pastor. Dylan Clark and Chris Morgan serve as producers for the film.
Spanish actor Mario Casas leads the film as the protagonist Sebastian. Nails Schuberth plays the role of his daughter Sophia. Actors Georgina Campbell, Diego Calva, Lola Duenas, Patrick Criado, and Gonzalo de Castro round out the cast.
