The series is based on Paul Dini and Bruce Timm's popular DC Comics character. It originally began as the captivating chronicles of the titular character as she breaks free from her abusive ex, the Joker. Joining forces with Poison Ivy and her band of misfits, she aspires to ascend the ranks as the ultimate bad guy. Eventually, Harley and Ivy fall in love with subsequent seasons depicting the blossoming love between the duo, lovingly referred to as "Harlivy", amidst the captivating backdrop of Gotham. The series became a smash hit for Max, with a standalone Valentine's Day special airing in 2023.
