Synopsis

Behind the White Tower Remastered is a rerun of the famous drama series that aired in 2007. It is also based on the work of a Japanese novelist, Toyoko Yamasaki. This drama portrays the political issues that occur in the medical field of a university hospital. It specifically focuses on a brilliant and intellectual doctor who is driven by his ambition and desire for success. On the other hand, there is another doctor who focuses on the well-being of the patients. This drama shows a sharp contrast between these two doctors and the outcome of such strong lust for power. As the plot develops, the two doctors take different paths and make different choices under the same situation. One of the many factors that make this drama so interesting is the character development of the two doctors who used to be friends.
