The ensemble cast of Welcome to Derry features Jovan Adepo, Chad Rook, Stephen Rider, Taylour Paige, Chris Chalk, James Remar and Madeleine Stowe. Bill Skarsgärd, who played Pennywise in It and It Chapter Two, is reprising the role in Welcome to Derry.
The prequel series is developed by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs. Fuchs and Brad Caleb Kane are the showrunners. Based on the world of Stephen King’s 1986 novel ‘It’, Welcome to Derry is a prequel to the films It and It Chapter Two.
Welcome to Derry season 1 consists of 9 episodes.
