Synopsis
An alleged curse plagues a couple’s personal and professional lives
After a kid vows to curse them, Whitney and Asher face unexpected challenges while filming their reality television home improvement series. The newlyweds must also navigate difficulties as they try to conceive a baby.

Emma Stone, Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie star in The Curse
The Curse is a scripted comedy series created by Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie. Benny Safdie has acted in films including Oppenheimer and Licorice Pizza, in addition to co-directing Uncut Gems and Good Time with his brother Josh Safdie. Fielder is well-known for his comedy series Nathan For You. The show is written by Fielder, Safdie and Carrie Kemper, who worked with Fielder on The Rehearsal.
Emma Stone stars in the series as Whitney Siegel, a host of a reality television series. Stone won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in La La Land, and was also nominated twice for Best Supporting Actress in The Favourite and Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance). Nathan Fielder plays Whitney’s husband, Asher, and Safdie plays their television show producer, Dougie. The cast also includes Constance Shulman, Corbin Bernsen and Barkhad Abdi.
