Super successful South Korean webcomic ‘Solo Leveling’ is adapted into an anime series
Solo Leveling is an anime series created by Shunsuke Nakashige and Noboru Kimura. Nakashige serves as the principal director and is known for his work on Sailor Moon Crystal and Sword Art Online. Kimura is the head writer for the series, and has previously worked on Healer Girl and Princess Principal Crown Handler. Solo Leveling is based on the South Korean webcomic of the same name. The web series ran for almost four years from March 2018 to December 2021. Hiroyuki Sawano, composer for Attack on Titan, serves as the composer for Solo Leveling. The distribution of the series outside of Asia is handled by Crunchyroll.
Aleks Le leads the English voice cast as Sung Jinwoo, with Justin Briner as his trusted sidekick Yoo Jinho. Rebecca Wang plays Sung Jinah, with Michelle Rojas as Cha Hae-in. Choi Jong-In is played by Ian Sinclair and Baek Yoonho plays Christopher R. Sabat.
The Japanese voice cast for the series stars Taito Ban as Sung Jinwoo, the hunter who embarks on a new mission. Reina Ueda is featured as the voice of Cha Hae-In, with Hiroki Touchi as Baek Yoonho, Genta Nakamura as Yoo Jinho and Daisuke Hirakawa as Chōi Jong-in. Banjou Ginga is Go Gunhee with Makoto Furukawa as the voice of Woo Jinchui.
