Donald Glover stars and executive produces Prime Video spy series ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’
Mr and Mrs Smith is a comedy spy series on Amazon Prime Video. The series is based on the characters from the 2005 movie of the same name starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The series is created by Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane. Phoebe Waller-Bridge was originally attached to the project, but dropped out due to creative differences. Mr and Mrs Smith is a co-production between Gilga, Cherry Pop Productions, New Regency and Amazon Studios.
Donald Glover stars in the series as John Smith, alongside Maya Erksine as Jane Smith. The Smiths are a married couple who agree to work as spies for a mysterious intelligence agency. Parker Posey, Wagner Moura, Michaela Coel, John Turturro and Paul Dano are also confirmed as part of the supporting cast.
