Krapopolis is an adult animated comedy series, developed and created by Dan Harmon. Harmon is the writer behind Rick and Morty and Community. The series was renewed for a second and third season ahead of its season one premiere. The show is produced by Harmonious Claptrap, Fox Entertainment Studios and Bento Box Entertainment.
British comedian, actor and director Richard Ayoade leads the cast as Tyrannis, the demigod king of Krapopolis. Ayoade rose to fame with his performance in The IT Crowd as Maurice Moss and is a frequent guest on many British comedy panel shows. Fellow The IT Crowd alum Matt Berry plays the Mantitaur (half manticore, half centaur), Shlub who also happens to be Tyrannis’s father and an artist. Pam Murphy plans Tyrannis’s half-sister, Stupendous, and Duncan Trussell plays his half-brother Hippocampus. Ted Lasso stand-out actress Hannah Waddingham rounds up the main cast as Deliria, the Goddess of Self-Destruction and Questionable Choice, and mother to Tyrannis and Stupendous. The cast also features Susan Sarandon, Steve Buscemi, Jane Lynch, Annie Murphy and many more in guest roles.
