Synopsis
It’s the beginning of Ancient Greek civilisation, and no-one knows how to rule the empire
A dysfunctional family and an even more dysfunctional city lead to chaos in this comedy animated series. As one chaotic family tries to rule Ancient Greece, their first priority is trying not to kill each other.

Krapopolis is an animated comedy series set in Ancient Greece. The show is created by Dan Harmon, who created live-action comedy Community and co-created the Emmy award winning animated series Rick and Morty. Harmon also serves as an executive producer, with Jordan Young acting as showrunner for season one of the series. Seasons two and three were ordered by Fox Entertainment Studios, before the show aired on television.
Richard Ayoade, an English actor, director and comedian stars in Krapopolis as the demigod king, Tyrannis. Ayoade has previously hosted the travel show Travel Man: 48 hours in… where he takes celebrities on a weekend trip to different cities around the world. Ayoade also wrote and directed the film Submarine. Matt Berry, an actor who has worked with Ayoade on The IT Crowd, co-stars as Shlub, with Pam Murphy as Stupendous, Duncan Trussell as Hippocampus and Hannah Waddingham as the Goddess of Self-Destruction and Questionable Choice, Deliria. Michael Urie voices Hermes, alongside guest actors including Dave Franco, Steve Buscemi, Dove Cameron and Ben Stiller as Prometheus.
