Justin Long stars in Disney+ series based on R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books
Goosebumps in a horror comedy series on Disney+. Based on R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps book series, the show is developed by Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller. Letterman directed the 2015 Goosebumps movie with Jack Black, and Pokémon Detective Pikachu. Stoller is known for directing Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Neighbours with Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Zac Efron and co-directing Storks. The series is produced by Sony Pictures, Original Film and Scholastic Entertainment, which is the same team behind the Goosebumps and Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween movies.
Justin Long stars as Nathan Bratt, a new teacher at school who is linked to a murder that happened decades ago. Long is well-known for his performances in Barbarian and Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. Ana Yi Puig stars as Isabella, with Miles McKenna, Will Price, Zack Morris and Isa Briones as James, Jeff, Isaiah and Margot. Rachael Harris (Lucifer, Suits) plays Nora, with Rob Huebel (Childrens Hospital) as Colin. Slappy the Dummy, the evil ventriloquist dummy from the Goosebumps books is also confirmed to appear after featuring on a promotional poster for the series.
