Interstellar (2014)

When I first saw Interstellar, I was initially taken aback by the accolades it had been getting. It's a visually phenomenal movie with strong performances, but I was unimpressed with the characters and frustrated by the movie's big twist. While I may still not love the exact circumstances of the ending, Interstellar's reflections on themes about family, legacy, and the passage of time have steadily improved the film. One of Christopher Nolan's most challenging movies, Interstellar is an inquisitive and phenomenal piece of sci-fi that is at its best when it's painfully human.

Christopher Nolan’s 2014 epic, Interstellar, is a wild and complex adventure. Traveling through both time and space, the movie uses a surprising amount of real scientific theories (seriously, there's books about it) to craft a sci-fi adventure that’s engrossing and smart. Plus, the film has deeper messages about love, family, and the way humanity continues to unintentionally destroy itself. If you want a movie that’s both exciting and meaningful, you need to watch Interstellar.

there is no POSSIBLE WAY this film is ANYTHING BUT a 5 star film. I always said I didn’t have the time (no pun intended) to watch this but i’m glad we finally set aside the time to watch. it is one of the most interesting plots, twists, and dialogues I have ever experienced watching movies. AN ABSOLUTE MUST WATCH
