In Tokyo Swindlers, a group of young con artists have been stealing money from a development company through “property swindling”, but throughout the series, the group dives deeper into a plot they might not be able to escape from. The show isn’t like your typical heist story. It's way more intense, action-packed, loaded with murder, and filled with corrupt and unlikable characters. It’s kind of like if Quentin Tarantino remade The Bling Ring. If you love heart-pounding action and lots of suspense, you need to watch Tokyo Swindlers.

Tokyo Swindlers plays out a lot like a typical heist story, relying on suspense and a slightly far-fetched scam revolving around real estate. However, it sets itself apart with its powerful performances and engaging characters, especially Harrison Yamanaka (Etsushi Toyokawa).
