Synopsis
After losing her job and her fiance, Jenna is a 40-year-old woman on a mission to reinvent herself
Stepping into the world of beauty journalism, Jenna Jones finds her passion for life again and everything seems to fall into place. But when she discovers that her new boss is actually her number one frenemy, Darcy things begin to get a little complicated. When she starts a relationship with Darcy’s son, Eric, things get even more complicated. Trying to hold it all together and keep the messiness at bay, Jenna must first find herself, before she finds anybody else.

The Perfect Find is a romantic comedy movie based on the Tia Williams novel of the same name. The adaptation was handled by Leigh Davenport, a writer, and producer who is known for her work on the television series Run the World. The Perfect Find is directed by Haitian-American director Numa Perrier who also stars in the movie as Pearl Bailey.
The cast of the movie is led by renowned actress Gabrielle Union who plays the main character Jenna Jones. She is joined in the cast by Gina Torres portraying Darcy Vale and Keith Powers who plays Eric. The expanded cast includes La La Anthony, Aisha Hinds, Remy Ma, and Ts Madison. The Perfect Find was released exclusively on the streaming service Netflix on June 23, 2023.
