Synopsis
Rocky and Ginger bring their daughter along for their most dangerous adventure yet
After escaping captivity, Rocky and Ginger settle down to live a free and happy life. The pair raise an adventurous daughter, Molly, who has the same reckless streak as both her parents and is just as stubborn too. On the mainland, trouble is brewing with the return of the cruel Mrs. Tweedy. Unable to sit by and do nothing, Rocky and Ginger gather a team for a new mission.

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is an animated comedy movie produced by Aardman Animations and Netflix Animation. The movie is a sequel to the 2000 movie Chicken Run. It is directed by Sam Fell, a filmmaker known for the movies Flushed Away and ParaNorman. Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is written by Karey Kirkpatrick who wrote the screenplay for the original movie and returns to write the sequel with co-writers John O'Farrell and Rachel Tunnard.
Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget features an all-star cast of voice actors including Thandie Newton who stars as Ginger. Zachary Levi takes on the role of Rocky. Bella Ramsey voices their daughter Molly. Comedian Romesh Ranganathan voices Nick, a disenchanted rat. Imelda Staunton stars as Bunty while Miranda Richardson voices Mrs. Tweedy. The cast also includes Daniel Mays, David Bradley, Jane Horrocks, Peter Serafinowicz, and Nick Mohammed. Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget was released on Netflix on December 15, 2023.
