Synopsis
Getting On takes its subject matter - care of the elderly - and gets to the heart, the hips, and the bowels of it. Funny, tough, compassionate, refreshingly un-PC, and with pathos, this is the story of one ward, in one hospital, in one overlooked corner of the modern health service.
