Synopsis
Helena and Bob must survive in a new, danger-filled world as they try to get home
Palaeontologist Helena Walker awakens after the tragic death of her wife to find herself transported to a new reality where dinosaurs roam and tribal factions war with one another. When she meets Bob, another person from her same world, they band together to survive and figure out a way to get home.

Michelle Yeoh, David Tennant, Vin Diesel, and others voice characters in Studio Wildcard's video game adaptation
Ark: The Animated Series Season 1 is the first season of the animated fantasy series produced by Studio Wildcard and Lex + Otis. The series is based on the video game Ark: Survival Evolved, created by Studio Wildcard. The minds behind the video game, Jesse Rapczack and Jeremy Stieglitz, also create the series, while Jay Olivia acts as the showrunner. Writers Kendall Deacon Davis and Marguerite Bennett pen the script, and the composer behind the video game’s score, Gareth Coker, returns to create the series’ soundtrack.
Cinematic action icon Vin Diesel acts as executive producer and voices Santiago, a freedom fighting pilot in the series. Madeleine Madden voices the main character, Helena Walker, a grieving palaeontologist. Karl Urban voiced Bob, a new friend she makes in the new world. They are joined by a host of acting talent including David Tennant as the series’ villain, Sir Edmund Rockwell, and Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh as Mei-yin Li. The star-studded voice cast also includes Gerard Butler, Russel Crowe, Jeffrey Wright, Elliot Page, Malcolm McDowell, and more.
