The Christophers (2026)

Hired to secretly complete a reclusive artist’s pieces, an art restorer winds up befriending the lonely artist instead

Since his heyday as a prominent artist in the 1960s and ‘70s London art scene, Julian Sklar’s life has become a quiet existence of seclusion and squandered dreams. His two estranged children, thinking of their inheritance, hire an art restorer and former forger, Lori, to infiltrate his studio under the guise of being a prospective assistant. There, they hope she will be able to complete ‘The Christophers’, eight unfinished pieces, that will be “discovered” in his attic after his death. However, when Julian finds out the plot, he and Lori begin a genuine friendship based on their similar aesthetic sensibilities and love of art.
