Soubin Shahir and Arjun Ashokan star in this Malayalam horror-comedy film
രോമാഞ്ചം or Romancham is a Malayalam film that hilariously recounts the real-life events from the director's life. The title translates to Goosebumps in English. Set in 2007, Bengaluru the story was written and directed by Jithu Madhavan, and marked his directorial debut in cinema. Jithu has assisted Johnpaul George on several projects prior to this film. The movie is produced by Johnpaul George, and Girish Gangadharan under the banner of Guppy Cinemas, a name that pays homage to the award-winning film together Guppy.
The movie features an ensemble cast with Soubin Shahir, Arjun Ashokan, Sajin Gopu, Siju Sunny and Abin Bino in lead roles. The movie’s catchy soundtrack is composed by Sushin Shyam, who is famously known for his work in Varathan and Kumbalangi Nights. He is also the keyboard player for a folk-metal band, The Down Troddence.
