Synopsis
The coming of age story of a strong willed soldier set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971
Pippa is a coming of age story about Captain Balram Singh Mehta, a young soldier who toughens up in the face of war, and goes on to bravely lead the 45th Cavalry regiment across the waters of Dhaka during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.

Pippa is a Hindi language war biopic based on the events that transpired in the Battle of Garibur in 1971. The film is produced by RSVP Movies with Ronnie Screwvala serving as the producer. Prior to this, Ronnie Screwvala produced the famed war film Uri: The Surgical Strike under the same banner. He is joined by Siddharth Roy from Roy Kapur Films. The film is directed by Raja Krishna Menon who is best known for directing the aerial war film Airlift.
Ishaan Khattar headlines the film as Captain Ballram Singh aka Ballu, he is joined by OTT star Mrunal Thakur who plays the role of a news reporter and his love interest. Veteran actor Soni Razdan signs on to play the role of Captain Ballram's mother, while Priyanshu Painyuli best known for his work in Mirzapur Season 2 is cast to play the role of Ballram's older brother.
