At first, her attempts to get to know him keep failing as Edward seems more and more repulsed by her presence each time they interact. However, the pair grow closer after Edward saves her from a series of misfortunate accidents that lead to Bella discovering Edward’s true identity as a vampire. The first movie, Twilight, focuses on Edward and Bella’s relationship and their deadly fight against a hostile clan of vampires.
The second movie, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, shifts gears to focus on Jacob Black’s life as he transitions from being an ordinary teenage boy to becoming a fierce werewolf. The movie also introduces a new budding romance between Jacob and Bella, after Edward abruptly leaves town to protect Bella from the dangers of dating a vampire.
The love triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob intensifies in the third movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The movie also introduces a new uprising of vampires which threatens the livelihood of the Cullen family.
The final two films in the series see Bella finally making her choice between Edward and Jacob and introduces a one-of-a-kind new mythical creature who creates quite a stir in the supernatural world of Twilight.
