Demon Slayer: Kimetso no Yaiba is an ongoing anime series that premiered in 2019 to universal acclaim. The series is currently in its fourth season but includes a few movies that can be watched in between the arcs. Here’s the chronological viewing order for Demon Slayer:

Set among warring factions of demons and armed demon hunters, the series kicks off with adolescent hero Tanjiro Kamado avenging the deaths of his family and the transformation of his sister, Nezuko, into a demon. Vowing to turn his sibling human, Tanjiro fearlessly embarks on a quest to become the greatest demon slayer of them all.
Despite a fairly straightforward premise, the anime is rich in details ranging from the different kinds of titular villains and some cutting edge fight sequences. There are three movies succeeding each season so far with the first one being Mugen Train, a commercial and critical success at the Japanese and global box office. The 2020 film still remains undisputed as the highest-grossing anime and Japanese film in the world.
The next movie was To The Swordsmith Village, which was essentially a recap of the last two episodes of the anime’s sophomore season along with additional footage from the third season premiere (which was yet to be released at the time).
