Dark Hole - Staffel 1 (2021)

In the small city of Muji, a huge, mysterious sinkhole appears in a forest located near a large-scale oil chemical plant. Having no clue how or when the sinkhole appeared, an unidentifiable black smoke arises from the abyss. People who inhale this smoke see their deepest fear appear right before their eyes like a hallucination. As they go crazy by being held prisoner to their own biggest fear, they slowly lose their humanity and become outrageous mutants that attack everything in their sight. The police detective Lee Hwa Sun leads herself to the sinkhole as she was working on the case of her husband’s murder. At the sinkhole, she meets a self-employed tow truck driver Yoo Tae Han. Together, they try to find out who or what is behind this monstrous sinkhole. While protecting the remaining survivors of the smoke, they roam throughout the city of Muji to stay alive in any way possible.
