Welcome to Wrexham season 2 is the second season of the all-access sports docuseries featuring Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney for FX. The series follows the journey of Wrexham A.F.C., a Welsh pro soccer team that was on the verge of collapse until actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchased it in 2021. Reynolds is best known for his portrayal as the titular Deadpool while McElhenney created and stars in another successful FX series, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Besides the main famed owners, a dynamic team of individuals hold pivotal roles throughout the football club. Humphrey Ker, the executive director and colleague of Rob McElhenney, contributes his expertise to the club's endeavors. Fleur Robinson, the chief executive, navigates the club's operations with skill and vision. Shaun Harvey, an advisor to the board, provides valuable insights to steer Wrexham A.F.C. in the right direction. Phil Parkinson, as the manager, leads the team on the field with strategic prowess.
