Synopsis
Geralt protects Ciri's growing powers from evil doers in Aretuza fortress
All beings are on the hunt for former princess Ciri as her enigmatic abilities continue to develop and become more powerful. Geralt provides Ciri with a secure means of escape and swiftly takes her into seclusion. The trio consisting of Yennefer, Ciri, and Geralt finds temporary safety within the stronghold of Aretuza but the question remains as to how long they can fend off the malevolent forces seeking to harm them.

What to know
Season 3 marks the final season of Henry Cavill portraying Geralt of Riviera
The Witcher season 3 is the third season for the fantasy-drama TV series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich for Netflix. Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series of the same name is what the series is adapted from. Hissrich and Declan De Barra are the co-creators of season 3 with Beau DeMayo working as a producer. Mike Ostroski takes on the role of writer for the third season while Stephen Surjick is the series director. Bola Ogun directs the final two episodes of season 3. Little Schmidt Productions and Platige Images are the production companies behind the series.
Henry Cavill reprises his role as the lead character, Geralt of Riviera, for the last time after portraying him the previous two seasons. Yennefer is once again played by Anya Chalotra while Ciri is portrayed by Freya Allan in season 3. The show welcomes several new actors for this season, including Robbie Amell, Hugh Skinner, Meng’er Zhang, and Christelle Elwin. Ryan Hayes, Michalina Olszanka, Kate Winter, Martyn Ellis, Harvey Quinn, and Poppy Almond are among the other cast members making their first appearances in the third season.
