Synopsis
The origins of Ted the talking teddy
Set following the intro to 2012's Ted, the series follows the early life of a talking teddy bear named Ted in 1993. Ted lives with a teenaged John Bennett and his family in Massachusetts. The Bennett household includes John's dad Matty, his mom Susan and his cousin Blaire, who is staying with them for college.

What to know
Ted prequel series sees the return of Seth MacFarlane as creator and voice of titular teddy
Ted is a comedy TV series created by Seth MacFarlane for Peacock. It marks the third entry into the Ted franchise, originally created by MacFarlane, following the initial installment from 2012 and its 2015 sequel. The series is set prior to the events of the 2012 film which sees the formation of the relationship between the titular teddy and main character of John Bennett, who was originally played by Mark Wahlberg in the films. MacFarlane is best known for creating and starring in such TV shows as Family Guy and The Orville along with co-creating American Dad! and The Cleveland Show. He wrote the first three episodes of the the series while Paul Corrigan, Brad Walsh, Dana Gould, Jon Pollack and Julius Sharpe tackled the remaining episodes.
Seth MacFarlane reprises his role as the titular talking teddy. Max Burkholder portrays Ted's lifelong pal, John Bennett. They are joined by Alanna Ubach as Susan Bennett, Scott Grimes as Matty Bennett and Giorgia Whigham as Blaire.
