Season 2 offers animation studios across the world the opportunity to produce a short Star Wars story
Star Wars: Visions season 2 is the second season for the animated anthology TV series on Disney+. The first season of the series featured stories predominantly produced from studios in Japan which worked to recognize the major influence Japanese culture has had in the Star Wars universe throughout the decades. Season 2 expands globally to highlight stories from other countries including Spain, Ireland, Chile, the United Kingdom, South Korea, France, India, South Africa and Japan with the United States.
Lucasfilm’s Vice President of Franchise Content & Strategy, James Waugh, executive produces the second season of Star Wars: Visions. The studios involved in crafting the shorts for season 2 are as follows: El Guiri for Spain, Cartoon Saloon in Ireland, Punkrobot for Chile, Aardman Animation in the U.K., Studio Mir for South Korea, Studio La Cachette in France, 88 Pictures for India, Triggerfish in South Africa and D'art Shtajio in Japan jointly produced with Lucasfilm in the U.S.
