Lupin season 3, referred to as Part Three, is the third season of the French mystery-thriller series created by George Kay and François Uzan for Netflix. The lead role of Assane Diop is based on the character of Arsène Lupin, a fictional gentleman thief and expert of disguises. Lupin was originally created by the French writer Maurice Leblanc in 1905. Initially, the character was featured in a collection of serialized short stories published in the magazine "Je sais tout". Lupin’s first part released in June 2021 to immense success, surpassing over 70 million viewers worldwide making it Netflix's most-watched non-English series at the time. The third season consists of seven episodes with Ludovic Bernard, Daniel Grou, and Xavier Gens handling directing duties.
The third part of Lupin follows the pattern of previous seasons with five episodes featuring Omar Sy as the lead character. Ludivine Sagnier plays the role of Lupin's former partner, Claire, and Etan Simon returns as their son, Raoul. Soufiane Guerrab also reprises his role as Detective Youssef Guedira, a character loosely based on Ganimard, another fictional character created by Maurice LeBlanc. Antoine Gouy, Vincent Londez and Shirine Boutella round out the cast as Benjamin Ferel, Captain Romain Laugier, Lt. Sofia Belkacem respectively.
