After saving the world and stopping the antichrist, the angel and demon duo of Crowley and Aziraphale decide to return to their regular lives in Soho. Crowley goes back to his London flat to care for his collection of rare and beautiful plants while Aziraphale resumes his work as a rare books dealer. However, their peaceful existence is interrupted when they are approached by an amnesiac angel wandering in Soho who presents them with a new mystery to solve. Aziraphale and Crowley put aside their comfortable lifestyles and team up once again to investigate and solve the mystery.
Good Omens season 2 is the second season for the fantasy-comedy adventure TV series written and created by Neil Gaiman for BBC Studios and Amazon Prime Video. Gaiman co-wrote the novel the series is based on of the same name with Terry Pratchett in 1990. Gaiman is a prominent novelist having written works that were ultimately adapted into film or TV including Coraline and American Gods. The second season of Good Omens draws from unpublished materials of a planned sequel called 668: The Neighbour of the Beast as the first season had already adapted the entire book. Comedian and writer John Finnemore joined the writing team to help capture the distinct humor of the original book, working alongside Gaiman. Douglas Mackinnon returned to direct the six-episode season and is also an executive producer of the show.
David Tennant and Michael Sheen reunite as Crowley and Aziraphale, respectively, in the second season of Good Omens. Jon Hamm also returns as Archangel Gabriel. Other cast members include Gloria Obianyo as Uriel, Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel and Liz Carr as Saraqael. Alex Norton, Andi Osho, Pete Firman, Tim Downie, Ty Tennant, Peter Davison, and Sian Phillips round out the cast.
