Synopsis
Midge gets one final shot at stardom
Desperate for a headline opportunity of her own, Midge turned down Lenny Bruce’s offer to open at Carnegie Hall and an opening slot at The Gordon Ford Show, so that her own career can finally flourish.
Outside of the comedy scene, she is unsure what to do about Lenny's drug use and where their complicated relationship goes next. As the curtain falls on the story of Miriam “Midge” Maisel, she has one final chance to become the star she knows that she can be.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 5 is a period comedy-drama television series. It is created by writer/ director Amy Sherman-Palladino, best known as the creator of the series Gilmore Girls. Since first airing in 2017, the show has garnered critical acclaim with Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Season 5 marks the final outing of the series which is produced by Amazon Studios.
Multi-award-winning actress Rachel Brosnahan takes on the titular lead for the final time. She is joined by Alex Borstein (Family Guy) portraying her long-time friend and manager Susie. Luke Kirby returns to his portrayal of the legendary but troubled comedian Lenny Bruce. Tony Shalhoub (Monk) and Marin Hinkle (Two and a Half Men) take on the role of Abe and Rose - Midge’s parents.
The cast includes a host of actors and actresses returning from throughout the seasons of the show: Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us) as a season 5 series regular, Alfie Fuller, Reid Scott, Jason Ralph, and Kelly Bishop return for the send-off. The final season also sees a few new faces appear on the show, including actors Chloe Kerwin, Peter Friedman and Austin Basis.
