Synopsis
Din Djarin and Grogu head to Mandalore
The Mandalorian's dangerous journey travelling across the galaxy leads to another encounter with the villaneous Moff Gideon - the warlord who unrelentingly hunted young force-sensitive Grogu for his own gain. In their last face-off, Din was able to defeat Moff Gideon and claim the Darksaber, a weapon of huge historical significance to Mandalorian culture.
Din must now determine the rightful place of the Darksaber as he returns to Mandalore seeking redemption. Meanwhile, Grogu's powers are strengthening and the unlikely duo are becoming a force to be reckoned with.

Jon Favreau returns as showrunner for The Mandalorian season 3
The Mandalorian season 3 is the third season of a space western sci-fi fantasy series created by Lucasfilm. The television show is created by Jon Favreau with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson executive producing. Rick Famuyiwa joins as an executive producer for season 3. Composer Ludwig Goransson is replaced for the third season by Joseph Shirley. Rachel Morrison, Peter Ramsey, Rick Famuyiwa, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers and Bryce Dallas Howard are the directors for the third season.
In season 3 of the popular Disney+ show, Pedro Pascal reprises the role of Din Djarin, the droid-hating bounty hunter more commonly known as the Mandalorian. Also returning to the cast is Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon. Carl Weathers plays Greef Karga and Katee Sackhoff returns as Bo-Katan. Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi and Amy Sedaris are part of the larger cast. The Mandalorian season 3 was released on Disney+ on March 1st, 2023.
