Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey return for The Last Of Us season 2
The upcoming second season of HBO’s post-apocalyptic drama series The Last Of Us is created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. The show is based on Druckmann and Bruce Straley’s 2013 video game series of the same name. The first season of the show was a critical and commercial success, earning five Primetime Emmy Award nominations. The show was renewed for a second season in January 2023, after only two episodes of season one had aired. Season two episodes will be directed by Peter Hoar, Craig Mazin, Neil Druckmann, Kate Herron, Mark Mylod, Nina Lopez-Corrado and Stephen Williams. The second season will consist of seven episodes.
Pedro Pascal returns as the smuggler Joel Miller, alongside co-star Bella Ramsey as Ellie, a young girl immune to the Cordyceps infection. The cast features Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Young Mazino as Jesse, Isabela Merced as Dina, Jeffrey Wright as Isaac and Catherine O’Hara. Gabriel Luna also returns as Joel’s younger brother Tommy, alongside Rutina Wesley as Tommy’s wife Maria. The season 2 cast also includes Danny Ramirez, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle and Spencer Lord.
