Samuel L. Jackson leads all-star cast in Marvel miniseries
Secret Invasion is a Disney+ action-adventure superhero limited series. Created by Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot), it is based on the ‘Secret Invasions’ storyline by Brian Michael Bendis which made its Marvel Comics debut in 2008. It is the ninth MCU television series and follows the continuity of the films. Skrulls’ first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was in Captain Marvel.
Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) leads an all-star cast as he reprises his role as Nick Fury, founder of the Avengers and director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Returning characters are Talos, played by Ben Mendelsohn, Maria Hill played by Cobie Smulders, Everett K. Ross played by Martin Freeman and James “Rhodey” Rhodes AKA War Machine played by Don Cheadle. Kingsley Ben-Adir is cast as Gravik, the series’ primary antagonist. Olivia Colman (The Favourite), Emilia Clarke (Terminator Genisys), Killian Scott (Dublin Murders) and Carmen Ejogo (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) make up the remaining cast.
