Synopsis
Fry, Bender, Leela and the Professor are back
Set in the future in 2999, pizza delivery guy Phillip J. Fry wakes up from a cryogenically induced coma. The show follows his adventures with the Professor, the founder of Planet Express Inc.; Leela, his love interest and the one-eyed captain of the ship; and Bender, a foul-mouthed robot known for his bad behaviour and alcoholism.

The original cast reprise their roles in Futurama revival
Futurama season 11 is the eleventh season of the adult animated science-fiction comedy series developed by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen. Groening created the series along with the hit television show The Simpsons. Futurama is a six-time Emmy Award winning show, which has been brought back to life by the US streaming service Hulu after the show’s original run which concluded in 2013. The new season will include twenty half-hour episodes.
Billy West reprises his roles as Fry, Professor Farnsworth and Doctor Zoidberg, with Katey Segal returning as Leela, and John DiMaggio as Bender. Leela’s mother is voiced by Tress MacNeille, and Hermes Conrad by Phil LaMarr. Maurice LaMarche returns as the voice of Calculon, Kif and Morbo, alongside Lauren Tom in her role as Amy Wong.

- Ten years after it had concluded, Hulu announced a revival of Futurama. They ordered a 20 episode season, set to premiere in 2023.
