Tom Holt's J.W. Wells & Co book series is now a movie
Based on Tom Holt's seven book series of the same name, The Portable Door is a supernatural mystery movie. Produced by The Jim Henson Company and Story Bridge Films, The Portable Door is directed by Jeffrey Walker. Leon Ford writes the screenplay and Australian musician Benjamin Speed handles the score.
The Portable Door stars two-time Academy Award-winning actor Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained) as Humphrey Wells. He is joined by the acclaimed actor, Sam Neill who is known for his roles in the Jurassic Park movies as well as the hit television show Peaky Blinders. Patrick Gibson and Sophie Wilde lead the movie playing Paul Carpenter and Sophie Pettingel respectively, the two interns at the heart of the story. Miranda Otto, Rachel House, Jessica De Gouw, and Chris Pang round out the cast.
