Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt star in movie remake of 1980s action series ‘The Fall Guy’
The Fall Guy is an action adventure film about a battered stuntman who lands a new movie. The film is directed by David Leitch (Bullet Train, Deadpool 2), with a screenplay from Drew Pearce (Hobbs & Shaw, Iron Man 3). The film is an adaptation of the 1980s TV series of the same name which starred Lee Majors and was created by Glen A. Larson. The Fall Guy is produced by Leitch, Ryan Gosling, Kelly McCormick and Guymon Casady, with Universal Pictures handling distribution. The movie was filmed in Sydney.
Ryan Gosling stars as the stuntman, Colt, with Emily Blunt as his ex-girlfriend Jody. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays the movie star who goes missing during production, with Stephanie Hsu as his personal assistant. Colt’s best friend is played by Winston Duke, with Hannah Waddingham as a film producer. Lee Majors, who starred as Colt Seavers in the original series, will also be involved in the project.
