What to know
American director Peyton Reed returns to direct the third instalment of the Ant-Man series, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It is the 31st instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Paul Rudd (Scott Rudd / Ant-Man) and Evangeline Lilly (Hope van Dyne / Wasp) continue to lead the ensemble cast. Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas both return, and are joined by Jonathan Majors who played Kang the Conqueror who is the major villain of the movie. Majors made his MCU debut as He Who Remains in the Loki series finale. In the comic books, Kang has been known to take on the entire Avengers team.
