Road House is an action film on Amazon Prime Video. Road House is directed by Doug Liman, the creative behind The Bourne Identity, Mr & Mrs Smith and Edge of Tomorrow. The film is produced by Joel Silver, and inspired by the 1989 Road House film starring Patrick Swayze. Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry write the screenplay for Road House.
Jake Gyllenhaal stars in Road House as Elwood Dalton, an ex-UFC middleweight fighter who takes a new job as a bouncer in Florida. The acclaimed actor is known for his performances in Donnie Darko, Brokeback Mountain and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Portuguese actress Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad) plays Ellie, with Billy Magnussen (Bridge of Spies) as Ben Brandt. The film’s cast also features Jessica Williams, Darren Barnet, J.D. Pardo, Arturo Castro, Joaquim de Almeida, Travis Van Winkle, and real-life UFC fighter Conor McGregor as Knox.
