Synopsis

These legendary turtles are back to their antics in New York City

Living in the sewers of New York City, four teenage turtle brothers - Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael - just want to be accepted by the people in their city. When their friend April pits them against a new crime syndicate on the scene, the turtles must step into action to restore peace in the city.

Seth Rogan produces Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated film

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is an animated movie produced by Point Grey Pictures and Nickelodeon Animation for Paramount Pictures. Based on the comic books written by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, the film is directed by Jeff Rowe. Rowe previously co-directed and wrote The Mitchells vs. the Machines. The screenplay is written by Seth Rogan and his frequent collaborator Evan Goldberg. The duo have worked on Pineapple Express, Superbad and The Interview together. Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez, writers of Pokemon Detective Pikachu, also contributed to the screenplay.  

Teen actors Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr, Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon voice the turtles Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael respectively. Ayo Edebiri plays April O’Neal, the turtles’ friend. A star-studded ensemble makes up the remaining cast, with Jackie Chan as Splinter, John Cena as Rocksteady, Ice Cube as Superfly, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, with Maya Rudolph, Post Malone, Hannibal Buress and Giancarlo Esposito.
