Sinopsis
The original surreal sketch comedy showcase for the Monty Python team, starring Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. One of the most ingenious and imaginative comedy shows ever to grace British television, the series, originally broadcast by the BBC from 1969 to 1974, threw away the rulebook of traditional sketch writing, dispensing with punch-lines and adopting an innovative stream of consciousness approach (aided by Gilliam’s animation), pushing the boundaries of what was acceptable in style and content. Including such classic sketches as Dead Parrot, The Lumberjack Song, Ministry Of Silly Walks, The Spanish Inquisition and Cheese Shop.
