Anders (Esben Dalgaard Andersen, Below the Surface) and Lise (Ditte Ylva Olsen, Dicte: Crime Reporter) are married, in their 30s, and live together in Denmark. But when they’ve been together for seven years, everyday life starts affecting them both in earnest, and they end up on the verge of divorce. Unprepared to give up on each other, they start seeing a couple’s counsellor. The pair are forced to laugh and cry their way through the history of their relationship; the intense highs of passion, romance, and adventure, as well as the lows of affairs, jealousy, and endless misunderstandings. From the moment they met to the breaking point of their marriage, they explore what’s driven them apart and what may bring them together once again.
