During World War II in the Philippines, Selina is a young woman who was sold into slavery by her ruined father. Unable to pay his debts, he sells Selina to Tiago, an abusive, wealthy, middle-aged man who forces Selina into sex while also using her as a helper around the house. Helpless, but for the hope of finding Tiago’s hidden gold, Selina finds comfort in Domeng, another helper. The pair plot their escape from their violent captor but not without discovering the location of Tiago’s treasure first.
