Synopsis
Nick and Charlie learn to navigate life as a couple together
Charlie and Nick are finally openly together and basking in their new love. But relationships are complicated, and the new pair must learn how to navigate one together. Meanwhile, Tara and Darcy come up against some unexpected challenges, while Tao and Elle cautiously see what the future brings.

What to know
The whole crew return for season 2 of Netflix’s hit queer coming-of-age series
Heartstopper Season 2 is the second season of the hit coming-of-age rom-com series produced by See-Saw Films for Netflix. The series is adapted from Alice Oseman’s graphic novel of the same title. Oseman is also the series’ head writer continuing into season 2. After audiences fell in love with Charlie and Nick in the first season of the series, Netflix quickly renewed the series for another two seasons before season 2 even started production.
The main cast from the first season return to their roles for season 2, including Kit Connor as Nick Nelson and Joe Locke as Charlie Spring, the couple at the heart of the story. They are joined by their close friends, played by William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, and Kitty Edgell. Additionally, Oscar-winner Olivia Colman will return to her role as Sarah Nelson, Nick’s mother. Leila Khan portrays Sahar Zahid, a new student and a friend of Elle’s in the second season.
