But when her high school sweetheart dumps her just as they’re about to sign their first mortgage, María finds herself in the throes of a premature midlife crisis - that’s further complicated by an unexpected pregnancy. Luckily, her sister Esther, a free-spirited artist lacking direction, and best friend Cristina, a hippie-turned-bigshot-lawyer struggling to keep her family intact, can relate.
