The story follows Cece Parker Jones, a 15-year-old from a small U.S. town who moves to Paris to pursue her dream of becoming a ballerina at the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a hidden book of family spells in her Aunt Ginger's apothecary. Unknowingly, Cece breaks a protection spell that had concealed her true identity: she descends from a powerful lineage of witches known as the Wizens.
