Meteor, Butterfly, Sword - Season 1 (2010)

“Meteor Butterfly Sword” is adapted from Gu Long’s novel of the same title. Set in the martial arts world, the clan of Sun Yu Bo, also known as “Mr. Sun”, is in a bad relationship with Wan Peng Wang’s 12th Flying Roc Sect. Mr. Sun has a secret base known as “Nirvana Woods”. The person-in-charge of the Nirvana Woods is Gao Ji Ping, who also goes by “Boss Gao” has four secret assassins under her, namely: Ye Xiang, Shi Qun, Meng Xing Hun and Xiao He. Boss Gao is furious after knowing being abandoned by Mr. Sun. So she orders her trusted assassin to kill him, while gets in contact with Lu Xiang Chuan and Tu Da Peng to stir up a fight between the two martial art forces, in hopes of fulfilling her ambition of ruling the martial arts world. Meng Xing Hun takes Gao’s order with the condition of it being his final mission. He eventually finds himself drawn into a world of betrayal and conspiracy. What’s more is that he falls in love with Sun’s daughter, Sun Die, and comes into realization of the true meaning of life and love. With the help of his friends, through his excellent skills and wisdom, Xing Hun exposes various plots and develops a deep relationship with Mr. Sun. At the end, he gets to marry Sun Die and retreats from the cruel martial arts world. On the other hand, Gao, Lu Xing Chuan and Tu Da Peng eventually meet their downfalls.
